History of Entertain the Moon
Shooting began in November of 2003 on BAS Entertainment’s full-length independent feature film. It showcases a full spectrum of local talent, great original music and an inspiring epic story of the battle between the desires of the flesh and the compelling guidance of the heart, all set against the 90’s music scene in Seattle.
The Soundtrack was produced at Audio Dementia Studios by Toby C. Brady, vocalist/guitarist and front man for his band, "Lost Dogma" and owner of the studio. The former front man for "Dandilion Soup" is also playing musical lead "JD Collins" in the film. Toby wrote and performs most of the songs in the movie, with a few by his wife Laurey Carolus, (lead singer for "The Retros") as well as some by writer/director Greg Bicknell who is also featured vocally.
The first opportunity for the viewing public to see the film will be at its premier release showing and kick-off party somewhere in the Seattle area. Stay tuned for details on the event, which will include live music, food and appearances by the cast and producers.
Shooting took place all over the Pacific Northwest, as well as in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Providence, Rhode Island. Although principal photography wrapped in 2006, post production was stalled numerous times, but the movies final touches and legal clearances are expected within the next six or eight weeks, then BAS Entertainment and its producing associate Laughing Dog Productions will be deciding on a number of the more than 1,000 Film Festivals worldwide in which to enter the film. That's also when we'll announce the premier party date ...stay tuned!!! |
