Toby C. Brady - "J.D. Collins"

Toby Brady is a songcrafter.
From a small town in Wyoming, then throwing fate into the wind Toby moved to Seattle in 1987, and soon found himself as the opening act for such bands as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Best Kissers in The World and Presidents of the United States of America, touring and producing 2 full length C.D.’s with his former band, “Dandilyon Soup”
Toby has recorded two Cd’s as a solo acoustic performer, 1998 “Live At The OK Hotel”and 2002 “A Boy and His Dogma” recorded in his home studio, playing most of the instruments himself.

Tobys sound is an acoustic blend of alternative folk/rock and blues, influences ranging from R.E.M. to Johnny Cash. With a strong emphasis on rhythm and melody, this creates the perfect background for his
story-telling lyrics.

Currently Toby is acting a lead role in the independent film “Entertain the Moon” and writing material for the soundtrack.

Here is what others had to say:
Singer/songwriter Toby practically pours out his soul during
live performances, the effect is captured nicely on this disc.
There is something honest and sedative about the groove of
this music…
- Gail Jean McCracken (Urban Spelunker)
A mid-tempo, sultry rhythm wave filled the room, then an
angel dressed in black began to sing...definitely on my “go see” list.
